Hello! My name is Justyna, and I'm the proud mom of  2.5-year-old named Alex. I want to take a moment to introduce myself so you can get to know me a bit better. I'm the originator of the concept of chocolate cards, a unique and delicious twist on traditional greeting cards.

 

In my professional life, I work as an Ecommerce Specialist for one of the biggest companies in the costume industry. When I'm not at work, I cherish every moment spent with my little family. Together, we love exploring and rediscovering the world, turning everyday activities into exciting adventures.

 

My Journey

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management, where I gained valuable insights into production processes and factory management. Despite my professional achievements, my childhood dream has always been to own a factory. This dream took root when I was just six years old. During a family shopping trip in Poland, my dad asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. Without hesitation, I told him, "I want to have my own box manufacturing company." My dad, understandably surprised, asked why. My simple answer was, "Everything comes in a box, Dad. People will always need boxes. But I want to create something original and unique."

 

While my journey took a different path, my entrepreneurial spirit never waned. I considered studying psychology, another passion of mine, but ultimately pursued engineering management. My dad, a lifelong entrepreneur, has always been my role model, inspiring me to chase my dreams.

 

The Birth of Chocolate Cards

The idea of chocolate cards was born out of a desire to create something special for my partner, who isn't a fan of traditional greeting cards because he hates throwing them away. Knowing he loves chocolate, I thought, why not make a greeting card out of chocolate? It was a simple yet innovative idea that I decided to pursue.

I started small, buying my first equipment and experimenting with chocolate. Despite having no prior experience with chocolate making, I was determined to learn. Through countless trials and errors, I created my first batch of chocolate cards. Nervous but excited, I shared them with my family and friends. Their reactions were overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the idea of an edible greeting card.

 

Their encouragement gave me the confidence to take the next step and start selling my chocolate cards online. The journey hasn't been easy, but the positive feedback from customers has been incredibly motivating. Knowing that my product brings joy to others fuels my passion and determination to succeed.

Balancing Roles

Balancing my career, my role as a mother, and my passion for chocolate cards has been a juggling act. My days are filled with meetings and strategic planning for my Ecommerce role, but my evenings and weekends are dedicated to my family and my chocolate card venture. Alex, my little one, has been a source of inspiration and joy. Watching him discover the world reminds me of the importance of creativity and curiosity in everything we do.

This balance is not always easy, but it’s incredibly fulfilling. The support from my family, especially my father who has always been my mentor, has been invaluable. They have been my cheerleaders, providing encouragement and advice every step of the way.

My background in engineering management has been surprisingly useful in this creative project. The skills I gained in production and process optimization have helped me streamline the manufacturing process, ensuring consistency and quality in every batch of chocolate cards.

Whether it’s for a birthday, anniversary, or just a special surprise, these cards create moments of happiness and delight.
